Carrie White, FNP is a native Tennessean, born in Knoxville, and raised in Sevier County. She graduated with honors from Sevier County High School in 2005, before pursuing her dream of studying nursing at Carson-Newman College. Carrie graduated from Carson-Newman College with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2010.

Her first job in nursing was on a Neurosurgical and Orthopedic Unit at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She then transferred to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where she continued to work for the next 10 years caring for critically ill adults. 

Carrie returned to Carson-Newman University for graduate school, while working in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She graduated in 2020 from Carson-Newman University with her Master’s in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner. 

Carrie began her career as a nurse practitioner in Primary Care, with subsequent experience in infusion services, and integrative medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. 

Carrie loves to spend her free time with her husband (Mark, who is a systems engineer), son (Emmet) and daughter (Sadie). She also enjoys baking, listening to podcasts, taking walks with her children, and watching documentaries.
